It suffers from a stifling water crisis before the onset of the summer, and tanks are the only most important alternatives to get out of this crisis. The mayor of Beit Ula, Muhammad Abd al-Rahim Nimer, indicated to our correspondent in Hebron that there are clear violations of the rights of citizens and the most important means of life, as the amount of water that reaches citizens is less than the average amount required for individual consumption, according to the World Bank statistics. The mayor said: The average quantities of drinking water that reached the town during the past months ranged between 25,000 to 30,000 cups per month, compared to the town’s population of about 14,000, and this is a dangerous and clear indication of the suffering and lives of citizens.
