  Meir Panim is a not for profit soup kitchen feeding any and all of Israel's poor. It provides hot meals five days a week and send food home with people for Shabbat and holidays. It is in a very old building that needs much repair. It is hoped that some day soon Meir Panim will move into a new and much more modern facility nearby. It should be noted that Meir Panim is not located on the third floor of the Central Bus Station, but on a street directly behind it just off Yirmiyahu. It is located on Hazvi Street.
