  Good place to take children, but very crowdy on Saturdays. Recommended to visit in any month in summer.

  Thousands of pelicans, passing through from Europe to Africa, stop here to refresh themselves and restore strength. The Agriculture Ministry of Israel funding a project to feed thousands of Great White Pelicans who fly annually over the country.

  ראינו המוני שקנאים מדהימים וגדולים. מומלץ בחום. המקום בחינם ונגיש, קל למצוא. שימו לב כדאי לבדוק שזו העונה הנכונה כך שהציפורים אכן שם. תהנו We saw so many big and beautiful Pelicans. the place is free, easy to access and easy to find. really amazing. make sure it's the right season before you go there (so that the birds are there).

  A nice observation deck to a pelican heaven during migration seasons. The road to this spot is all dirt roads with some holes in it so be careful and expect a car cover in dust, or a bit of mud if wet. There is another great overlook point just on the other side of the reservoir, just along the road that actually gives closer look, depending on where the birds sit at the time.
