  The owner of the gallery was extremely helpful and kind. There is a wonderful variety of local artists work and the prices are reasonable.

  If you love art, go here!! I went into Levantine Gallery after walking past it in the Old City, and I’m so glad I did. The art was beautiful, tasteful, and very reasonably priced. I’m a student studying here in Jerusalem for a few months, and each time I walk into the shop, Karen and Mohammad are so kind and I am always greeted with a smile. Karen has quite the life story—ask her about it! She helped me find an original piece I loved that was within my budget. Once I left the shop, I couldn’t stop thinking about another painting I had seen so I contacted them through Instagram (@levantinegallery). A timely response came saying that they would hold onto it for me until I could make it into the shop! They were so kind and I did not feel pressured to buy the painting at all (I ended up purchasing a similar painting by the same artist instead). I love my original art and will cherish my paintings for many years to come. Levantine Gallery likes to support local artists—especially women—which I am so happy to support. I have had a wonderful experience and will continue to pop in and see what new art they have available. They also carry some other fun merchandise as well—tea towels, canvas bags, cute post cards, etc. Overall, an amazing selection and amazing service! Thank you Karen and Mohammad!

  Beautifully curated gallery. Very unusual find in the Old City. You can get unique prints, drawings, paintings, sculptures, postcards and other fun gifts. The work is by local artists, so you can feel good about purchasing from this store. The owner of the shop is very nice and knowledgeable/passionate about the artwork. Highly recommend!
