::As a new Oleh I figured a place with so many top reviews and a great free trial period would be the perfect place to begin to ease the stresses of my move and life in general. Thing is that once stepping in to register I was immediately asked if I knew fluent Hebrew. Since I still am learning I replied honestly and said no. They turned me away and said that they are โvery spiritualโ and require a fluent understanding of Hebrew. I was and still am shocked. This is blatant discrimination simply because I donโt know Hebrew like a native Israeli. Yoga isnโt simply communal. As anyone else that has practiced yoga knows, there is a strong individual component of meditation and inner searching as well. Simply amazed at the short sightedness. Crazy part is that they told me no in English. Thanks for nothing. Edit: Before arriving I read their website and nowhere does it mention the language requirement.
