  This has been my fourth trip to Israel, and each time I am astounded at how uniquely my guide shapes my experience. Assaf is one of the most joyous, keen, and mission-minded tour guides I've met. His knowledge is vast, but restricted to what is best for you to know. He is hilarious and fun-loving, but can quickly shift to make weighty decisions for the trip, then return his attention to enjoying his time with you. I highly recommend anyone with an interest in seeing Israel through an authentic and people-based lens to do so with Assaf Boker.

  Assaf is absolutely incredible. Throughout our 10 day tour, our group of 32 asked him a countless number of questions about the current geopolitical situation in Israel along with questions about biblical and archaeological history. He was never once caught off guard, always ready with a thoughtful and intelligent response. I was constantly amazed by the depth of his knowledge. What made him stand out from all other tour guides, though, was his desire to get to know each of us personally and bring us together as a family. Through his sense of humor and friendly, outgoing personality, he quickly became an integral part of our group and a close friend. I can't imagine having been in Israel without him as a guide, and I can't recommend him enough.

  Passages tour group of 32, May 2018. Assaf was great! His wealth of knowledge, ability to relate it meaningfully, understandably, and thoroughly was very impressive. He kept the pace up so that our group of 32 was engaged in learning, enjoying, and experiencing history, places, people, and great food. He made the history come alive. He has a great love for people and for Israel. He made our tour a lifetime memory. Incomparable!

  We just finished a 10 day trip to Israel with Assaf as our tour guide for the whole trip and he was amazing! He was so engaging, fun, and knowledgeable and really was one of the highlights of the trip. He was able to answer well any question we sent his way, always had a great sense of humor, knew the best places to take us, and even taught us Hebrew words every day. I seriously cannot day enough good things about him. You want him as your tour guide!

  Assaf is a phenomenal tour guide. His knowledge of history, politics, geography, and religion are combined with excellent teaching and story-telling skills. He makes you excited about whatever location you are visiting. Moreover, Assaf is more eager to engage you than persuade you. He does not mind sharing his thoughts on certain matters, but only does so hoping to inform and to provoke excellent thought and conversation. Highest recommendations!
