  My first experience in this fantastic synagogue was in 1979 for my Israel bar mitzvah. Fortunately, I am able now to go with my family on a regular basis to this wonderful spiritual institution. Rob Golan is a great rabbi and we were able recently to see Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar, the former Sephardic chief Rabbi of Israel there for Shabbat HaGadol. The esteemed Gabbai, Shlomo Haizak, generously gives me Aliyah Levi. Lior Mizrahi, the Hazzan, is top notch Yerushalmi.
