  Well there's a saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. I have thousands of pictures of my experience in KBY, and unfortunately, I don't have time to write a review consisting of millions of words, but I'll do my best. Kerem byavne is a place that a person can come and really enhance their learning, and maybe even grow to be a mature individual or something. Within the "Modernishe" spectrum, the learning here is somewhere on the top. But you have to be motivated to grow, because compared to other "modern" places, it's pretty free. But honestly​, if you really wanna learn, you can make significant growth anywhere. What set KBY apart for me, is that here I got a real thirst for the truth. Be it Rav Fischer bashing shtooyis, Rav Bannet shtelling Steven covey, and Rav Blachman quoting the Godfather, I now feel I've developed a drive to find the truth and to be sceptical of what some would call "nice" pshotim. My overall experience, I'd say has been pretty good. The dorms are nicer than a typical yerushalayim yeshiva, while the food is not as good. The location really makes a difference in the experience, as there are much less distractions. On the other hand, it costs 16 shekel and an hour to get to yerushalayim, so that can be a pain. The rebbeyim are awesome, and there's a good chevra. The hanhala is pretty tziyoni, but they don't shove it down your throat, so that's good. Overall, very positive experience. My main point is, I definitely would recommend coming if you want to learn in an environment where Torah is a priority, and people don't tell you what to do, or what to think. But you have to want to grow in Torah, otherwise, don't waste your time.
