  Loved eating under the tent. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The food was excellent and came out in several courses. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms.

  One of the best restaurants in Bethleem area, both in terms of general atmosphere and regarding the menu. All meat-based dishes are fantastic. Highly recommended!

  Tent Restaurant was one of the best local restaurants we dined at during our 10-day Israel and Palestine trip. It's in Bethlehem near the Shepard's Field with an amazing view into the valley. It's open air seating with open walls to let the breeze in. Diners sit around a wooden table on benches with red pillows and blankets on them. Eight people can fit around each table. Once seated, they bring you a plethora of salads (hummus, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled things, etc). Then comes a MASSIVE platter of grilled meats, roasted tomatoes, and fries. The best baklava comes for dessert followed by the option of hookah (definitely order a round!). If you want the Middle Eastern experience wit fresh, quality food, grab a table at Tent Restaurant.

  GREAT RESTAURANT !!! Located on a hillside above the Shepherds' Fields (where, according to the Bible, angels announced the birth of Jesus). The Tent provides a great atmosphere, giving the impression you're in a bedouin tent.  Tasty food..!
