  Antipathetic officials, demand an appointment on the phone even if the windows are completely empty. It turned out that I arrived 5 minutes before closing time when the clerk announced that it was already closed only because she wanted to close early

  Extraordinary service! In only 45 minutes, not only was I able to pick up a package that was just barely too big to fit in my mailbox, but I also got an excellent snapshot into old Israel. Crowded with all kinds of people, even during Corona, the Israeli post office is a great place to see and meet all kinds of characters! I even learned some Chinese curse words, as the person in front of my was trying to figure out why it took nearly an hour for him to pay his 59 ILS phone bill. So, bring a book next time and do some great people watching! - Also, you will want to bring a chair, since there is no where to sit down. But don't bring a heavy chair; there is no parking and you may have to lug it!
