  Visited the Nazareth Village outdoor museum near the YMCA. You are taken on an amazing journey back to Biblical times as a guide leads you through olive groves, past ancient wine presses, stone buildings and finally to a reconstructed ancient synagogue. Well worth the visit for both Christians and those interested in the history of this area. You will be walking over uneven gravel paths, with steps, not wheel chair or stroller accessible. Very nice no-pressure gift shop at the end of tour. Clean restrooms. I only saw the city of Nazareth from the bus as we drove through on our way to the village. The city appeared to be a predominantly Muslim city, very dirty and run down. Saw a McDonald's but no other restaurants. Saw no tourists walking around the city. Not the place a female tourist would wander around alone.
