  Sehr übersichtliches Modell wodurch man sich die Situation in den früheren Zeiten sehr gut vorstellen kann. Schöner Laden mit interessanten Büchern.

  Very cool old ruins to see here! The overlook to the valley had a great shaded place with benches to rest on while we took in the beautiful view. Later we headed down the 200some steps into Ahab's cistern, along a short tunnel and out the other side. An awesome adventure if you're good with tons of stairs, but probably not a good idea for people who aren't comfortable with heights or with the possibility of centipedes that sometimes fall off the ceiling in small spaces.

  Fantastic journey onto the past. Lots of information presented on different eras of Meggido's existence.

  Megiddo National Park si trova a circa 30 km. da Haifa sulla strada per Nazareth, nella valle chiamata Armageddon secondo la tradizione biblica , nella quale alla fine dei tempi si combatterà la battaglia finale tra il bene e il male. All' ingresso del parco c è un piccolo museo con annesso shop. La visita al parco archeologico è interessante, ma per apprezzare il sito consiglio di unirsi a qualche gruppo guidato.

  מעל 3000 שנות התישבות במקום אחד. 25 שכבות של ישוב... על ישוב... על ישוב... המקום בו תיאורים מהתנ"ך מתחברים למקורות מכנען, מצרים, אשור, בבל. לאחרונה הוסיפו פרגולות לצל ברחבי האתר. התצוגות בכניסה עדיין מיושנות ונעדרות ממצאים, כך גם סרט התדמית בכניסה. פנינה היסטורית וארכיאולוגית מול נופי העמק המדהימים.
