  Fantastic place to go to on Chanuka or if you enjoy archaeology, but otherwise not so interesting. Not family friendly. This place is best suited for those who enjoyed the road-less-traveled-by with many archaeological sites that have only barely been excavated.

  Close to our home in chashmonaim, a beautiful hill filled with wild flowers in the spring. Beautiful views in most directions, lots of archeology. Recommended

  Very nice views of the surrounding hills and villages. The display boards throughout the trail give a nice historical background to the area, though they are only written in Hebrew. You can see a few ancient mikvehs. Located conveniently at the edge of Modiin-Maccabim Reut.
