The setting is beautiful. The interior of the hotel has some really nice areas. Top notch massage therapists. Pool is great and gym is well stocked both with machines and free weights. Food is excellent and plentiful. Rooms are standard design but comfortable mattress and good water pressure in the shower. Service personnel are helpful and always around.

Loved this place. We went for a relaxing few days, and it was wonderful. The massages that we had were perfect. The food was good, but we wish the menu had changed every day. Even though there was lots of choices, it's nice to chose from different items. We will definitely go back here, or another Isrotel hotel in the chain.

Visiting the Carmel Forest Spa is a wonderful experience. The staff are helpful and polite, the grounds are green with beautiful trees and flowers, with every kind of seating (swings, hammocks, beaches, and more), to rest and enjoy the view, (or pool). The food too is excellent, with so much to choose from, all fresh and well prepared. Whether vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian or a carnivore, you will find lots of delicious food to eat. If you have dietary restrictions they will help you. Of course, one must indulge in at least one of the many types of massages. In short, if you need a relaxing break from your hectic life, this is the place to go!

The Carmel Spa has the best service of any hotel I have been to in the entire country. From our waiters during breakfast and dinner who were constantly checking in on us to the front desk who was more than helpful with anything we needed. A special thanks to Or the Security Guard and Medic who took special care of me when I was injured and to Munira who made sure our stay was above and beyond. The pool area is one of the best and we appreciated having someone save chairs for us. The Carmel Suite was beautifully done (recently renovated) and the porch area was so enjoyable. The food was impeccable especially the Fillet at dinner and the Poached eggs at breakfast. Loved that it was both buffet and menu style. All around great experience and I look forward to coming again!

It's known that hotels in Israel are over priced. It's ok to charge a lot if you give something in return. Here, no doubt, the fact that there are no children and the isolation of the premises does it job if quiet is what you are searching for. But it is still over priced. We got the suite, which is about 150$ more expensive than the regular room. But for room size wise, if was pretty small. The balcony is not private as they claim, there is a low fence dividing between you and your neighbor. So if you are coming from abroad and used for a high standard hotel that you would usually pay 200$ a night (on weekends), expect to get almost the same for 1000$ a night in this hotel. Must say, that the facilities are great, the food is supper. The price includes breakfast and dinner. (note that the place is Kosher, therefore the meals on Saturday are limited to reheated food). A place to be in calm and quiet, but at the price of one night, you can get yourself a great weekend vacation in a 5 star hotel in Europe. But if you can't go abroad, take this place under consideration.
