  Amazing - though there are simply no words to describe how we felt at Bassem’s. Owner Issam is warm and friendly in welcoming you, and the tea and book selection if wonderful. The perfect place to come after a long day of touring to read some amazing books about the Palestinians.

  A wonderful little Oasis amidst the busy streets of old town Jerusalem. Enjoy the excellent Coffee by shop keeper Issam, sit back and soak in the cozy peacefulness around you. And if you are looking for insightful literature on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, this is the place to go.
