  The refused to open an account for me unless I give them 200,000 nis. The service was beyond horrible.

  אם אתם תושבי חוץ הסניף הזה מצויין בעבורכם, אם אתם מוקומיים אז אל תתקרבו לסניף, תורים ארוכים חוסר ידע וזלזול מצד הבנקאים, נראה כאילו היחידות שיודעת את העבודה הן הבחורות שעוזרות מחוץ לדלפקים

  I begin to understand why people dislike us ... You first discern a practiced efficiency in the form of employees rushing through aisles, torsos inclined to great purpose. Presently contract this with their sweeping insistences to occupy banks of seats earlier filled, and dismissals of queries with skyward misdirection and gesticulating obscurity. There is no need to take a number because the line doesn't move. Branch Manager offices are never occupied but to the sight of sedate and drawn-out discourses, conducted in foreign tongues, with interlocutors whose errand is purely pleasure. Business conversations at this rarefied height of the hierarchy are verboten. The highest accolade i can offer though is to describe with what sincere and unabashed lack of condolence, apology, and sympathy employees fail to present viable financial alternatives, to give other than vague and nebulous directions, or to serve up any useful information at all. It is so refreshing to get the news direct, without platitude or solicitude toward meeting the needs of prospective or even current customers. My suggestion to the manager, which he considered with nodding, unblinking disapprobation, was to put up a notice, script or cursive, Latin or abjad: ISRAELIS ONLY, FOREIGNERS NOT WELCOME.

  בסניף מרכזי של בנק לאומי לא הייתי מצפה לקבל שירות מזלזל של הפקידים , תור ארוך ואיטי . לא להתקרב לסניף הזה.
