  I was a customer of Bank Hapoalim for almost 4 years I moved to Tel Aviv and had to close the joint account following the divorce I was told that I would do it at every branch just to come and sign (everyone can come separately) I came to the branch closest to me in Tel Aviv and the clerk said that she must check the closing of the account in front of my branch (in Haifa), called and the manager named Yaffa from the branch started saying that we must come especially to Haifa to close the account and must come together to sign at the moment When I explained that it is not possible to go to Haifa and also that I heard that it is possible to do it from a distance - she started talking in a very disgusting and shocking way and said that she does not handle relationships at all (what is the connection?) And that we should go pay a lawyer if they can not come to Haifa In the end she also said she did not have time to deal with these things and hung up So thanks to the branch manager Yaffa - I will never return to Bank Hapoalim And the issue is also resolved in another branch in Tel Aviv in 15 minutes and we didn't even have to come and sign together at the same time (which was very problematic for all sorts of reasons) So my question is not only why the manager allows herself to talk in such a disgusting way with her clients and also - why is she not at all aware that there are options to help clients without burdening them to travel to another city two hours one way? Lack of professionalism. Really sorry to write all this.

  This bank is a joke. You can expect to wait over an hour when the ticket says five minutes. They take so long to process deposits and the ticket machines break down sometimes - they still use the outdated Windows XP operating system to process passports, which is a huge safety concern. Staff is very indifferent to customer experience. Hours are also incredibly inconvenient! Avoid if possible.
