::The Arab Islamic Bank, abbreviated as AIB, is a Palestinian public joint stock company that was registered on January 8, 1995, and started its business in early 1996 with a capital of $21 million. It is the first bank to practice its banking business in accordance with the provisions of Islamic law in the Palestinian territories. The bank has 27 branches, offices and 61 ATMs spread in the governorates of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a representative office in the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and a mobile branch until the end of 2019.
