  I took a Jeep Tour in October of 2017. It has been a great experience. The company was very accommodating from the very beginning, promptly answering my questions sent via email before the trip. I wound up having a private tour, since the other participant cancelled at the last moment. I was very impressed by the guide Yoash. He is very knowledgeable not only about the crater and its geology, but also about archeology of ancient Israel. Our conversation veered from talking about the scenery around us to life in Israel. He shared his views and came across as a person who really cares about the well-being of the country.

  Great adventure!!! Fun jeep ride throught back roads in the crater amazing vistas. Very interesting explanations of the natural history and human history of the area. Defiantly worth a try.

  I did the jeeptour and the rappelling. The jeeptour was really well explained and I left with more knowledge about the desert. Also the way it was explained was really visual and that's something I like as it gets much easier to remember and understand. The rappelling, I am scared of heights but I left with a lot more confidence and pride. I felt very safe and again everything was very nicely explained and they really help you with your fear. It was definitely an experience I will never forget !!!! thank you a lot for that! Definitely a must do if youre visiting.

  I went on a fascinating 2.5 hour jeep tour with Yoash. Going on the tour gave me a sense of the true scale of the Crater and an insight into the life which exists amongst it. In particular, a memorable experience for me was learning about the way in which the Acacia tree has adapted to the inhospitable conditions. I would recommend the tour for getting a far more indepth experience of the Crater than may be gleaned from a viewpoint. Yoash was funny, knowledgeable and above all extremely passionate about the dessert.

  The desert jeep tour was an absolutely amazing and fun experience where we went inside the beautiful Makhtesh Ramon. Highly recommended! You might get a freshly brewed desert tea while petting a baby lizard like we did. You could really feel that our guide Yoash is an expert in his field. Thanks a lot, Viki
