  Abu Ihad's guesthouse is a lifesaver! We came knocking on his door at 1am begging for help, and in his gracious hospitality he gave us a room for a cheap price. The room was fantastic. In the morning he insisted on treating us to home made coffee and telling us his life story. The guesthouse is where he was born and the courtyard where we sat to drink tea is where he was baptized. Great host, great guest house!

  The hospitality was great. Atmosphere was nice and quiet. Great location - only 2 minutes away from the market. We felt very comfortable in the room and had a great breakfast, had lots of vegan options

  Excellent position. Very clean. Good breakfast. Owner was very helpful when I arrived late and did not charge me extra when he was in his rights to do so. Thoroughly recommended

  The room was clean and with two windows, silent and comfortable. However, there were a few disappointing aspects worth mentioning: our reservation specified there would be a TV in the room, but there was none; the tap of the bathroom was broken and there wasn't even a chair in the room. The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast service. We were told it would start at 8.30, but when we arrived at 8.40 the 4 people who were already having breakfast had finished up the ham and cheese, and none of the hotel people came to refill the trays, so all we had was tomatoes and bread. The only drink available was a sort of artificial chewing gum tasting yellowish liquid and coffee was only powder and hot water type. We had to pay for breakfast again at a place next door.
