::I'm currently a mother to an incredible 6 week old. When I was pregnant I didn't know how I felt about breastfeeding and I figured I'd just see how it goes. When I first spoke to Malka, she had insisted that we meet before I have the baby. She came all the way to the place most comfortable for me. We sat down and she had given me a lot of information about breastfeeding to help me best make a decision about my plan. She also gave me a physical evaluation and helped me best prepare my body for what's to come and what to expect. Once I had the baby and was terrified that my baby wasn't eating enough or properly, she immediately came all the way to my hospital and reassured me. About a week later I was on the verge of switching to formula feeding because nursing was still very painful but Malka kept encouraging me and helping me and the baby, making sure we were breastfeeding properly therefore minimizing the pain. Now, six weeks later, it all comes so naturally and painlessly for me and my baby and he's growing at a wonderful rate. Although he would grow as well being formula fed, at this point I can't imagine not breastfeeding him and I would never give up on the bond that we've created thanks to nursing. Malka has been so informative, supportive, encouraging, and most importantly available to answer all of my questions and concerns. Thanks to Malka, my baby is not only getting the most nutritional and healthy food possible, but the bond we've created because of breastfeeding is irreplaceable.
