::We went on pesach the ambiance was amazing. The menu was lacking and used a lot of salt and pepper to fix it. I got the Jerusalem mixed grill the meat was cooked well,but the ratio to fried onions was low. The desserts were great we tried them all. I would go back to try the non Passover menu.

::לעולם אל תלכו למסעדה זו. במסגרת פסטיבל האור בירושלים, פרסמו מס' מסעדות תפריט ב- -66 ₪ . בחרנו , לצערנו, בסקאלה. האוכל היה גרוע, ולא לפי התיאור בתפריט. המחיר אסטרונומיים - אפילו כשביקשנו מים - הבאנו מים מינרליים ובחשבון התברר כי חייבו אותנו ב- 27 ש"ח לבקבוק מים. כשהערנו על כך למלצרית - היא אמרה - הייתם אומרים והיינו מביאים מים רגילים. המנה היה על הפנים - קוביות דג מטוגן ויבש, על מצע 2 פרוסות תפוחי אדמה ומיונז. והמטבל היה לא פחות ולא יותר מאשר- מיונז - . שלמנו על 4 מנות כאלו. 300 ₪. הרגשנו שרימו אותנו. דווקא במסעדה במלון מצודת דוד - האמורה להיות גורמה ולהציע מנות באיכות גבוהה והשאיר טעם טוב, האכזבה היתה כה גדולה. הרגשנו מרומים.

::Had a very positive experience there for an anniversary night. Menu was exquisite and our portions excellent, not that pricey considering - good return value for the money. Very calm and quiet atmosphere. Great service, very helpful, gracious and courteous. Not only our waitress but the whole staff was very attentive and helpful. Although I can be very particular at times they complied to my every request - changing the music, extra house specials, graciously and without any fuss. With a long history of restaurants with absolutely non existent service in Jerusalem I was quite impressed. Along with an excellent menu with a great attention to culinary detail makes this place a winning combination!
