  The worst hotel I've stayed in, I'm not a very demanding person I'm used to stay in hostels, campsites, guest houses, etc but this hotel has been one of the worst experiences in accommodation I've had in relation price - quality . It is a very neglected and dirty hotel has stained carpet, cockroaches, cables everywhere, air conditioning does not work, sheets are not sheets are pieces of cloth that cover part of the mattress, the shower stand is broken so there is no place to hang it, the bathroom is full of mushrooms. The only thing that is salvable from the hotel are two things the staff that works there since it is very friendly and its location as it is a few meters from the OLD CITY

  I booked a double room. When we arrived we were given a single room. When asked at the reception to solve the problem, at first one of the men there joked that one bed was stolen, which was not funny, because the reception obviously already knew the situation and probably hoped that we would accept a single room for two persons, which, if that's the case, is very unprofessional. Then the receptionist moved us to a hotel across the street (Rivoli Hotel). The room that was given to us in the other hotel was in a terrible state. So, to make long story short, most of the promised services that the hotel obligated to provide, were not fulfilled. After the trip I tried to contact the hotel regarding the refund but so far they haven't replied. I strongly advise to stay away from this hotel! Or at least if you are asked to move to another hotel, ensure somehow that you get a satisfactory room.

  This hotel has a great location and staff is very friendly, and that is where all ends. The rooms are horrible!!!! The bathrooms smell to sewer, shower was broken, dirty carpet and the worst was cockroaches everywhere including your bed!!! This hotel needs fumigation and a remodel badly. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Pay doble and stay elsewhere. You will regret staying here unless you like killing roaches : )

  Close to many places of interest, within walking distance. Hotel is old, but quaint. Needs some upgrades, but the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is pretty good and there is coffee 24/7. If traveling on a budget this is a good place.
