  חברת דואר ישראל היא חברה ממשלתית בבעלות מלאה (100%) של המדינה המספקת שירותי דואר אוניברסליים לכלל הציבור, לצד שירותי בנקאות תחת בנק הדואר שפועל כחברה-בת. דואר ישראל מספקת שירותי דואר לכלל היישובים בישראל בזכות הפריסה הגדולה ביותר של יחידות שירות – 700 סניפים וכן 50 קווי דואר נע שבהם מחולקים דברי הדואר ללקוחות. ב-2006 חל שינוי מבני בהפעלת הדואר, והוא עבר מפעילות כרשות סטטוטורית לחברה ממשלתית.

  לא הצלחתי ליצור קשר עם הסניף הזה במשך יותר משעה וגם לא מצאתי את מספר הסניף בכל צורה שהיא כדי להעביר כסף מחשבון לחשבון.

  6 tellers. 3 were available, 1 was busy scanning cheques and 2 were closed. Place was packed with people. Stupidly slow (34min) to pickup one little package that was mailed to this branch instead of the correct destination. When I asked the clerk how such errors can be prevented, she said "talk to the mailers". By that time I did not have the time to tell her "you are the mailers".
