::Used to be much better in the past, the waiter insisted that we take the most expensive specials on the menu but didn't notify us that they are not included in the happy hour pricing. Very hit and miss regarding the food. A few dishes were very good and a few were terrible Edit: due to the owners response, i would like to clarify. I used to work in the area and eat here regularly. 1-2 times a week and the level of service has clearly changed for the worse Some dishes were really good - the sabiche for example but we also ordered the fish with spinach which was a special dish highly recommended by the waiter. But apparently our definition of amazing is different from his which is fine in yet the spinach which is part of the aide dishes was inedible, truly terrible and far from what I'm used to in this place. The waiter was told and he couldn't care less just said oh really so can I take your plate? It was obvious by his recommendations that he cared only to push the more expensive dishes and not less us know that they are specials and not part of the happy hour deals. I don't care much about deals and happy hours and I'm happy to pay full price, just don't appreciate the weaseling the waiter did to nickel and dime us and increase our spend. I'm not the one to go out of my way to complain but Obviously it was reflected in his tip and in this review Another fish we ordered was the calamari with onions which wasn't prepared well. Also notified the waiter on this case and again just mentioned that most people like it or some ambiguous answer. I agree No one forced us to take anything and it was from our own free will and we didnt ask for any type or sort of compensation, discount or anything of that sort those should be given of your own free will, not demanded by me. If you haven't trained your staff to be mindful of the customer do not be surprised when less than happy reviews come your way as you failed to deal with their concerns while they were guests at your place. You need to improve and you need to own it.
