  Удобно, чисто всё как Надо. Плохо что до тахана мерказит надо долго ехать. Хорошо что на выходе со станции есть автобусы, в том числе и до тахана ме ркази

  אשקלון נמנית עם הערים הקדומות ביותר בארץ ישראל העתיקה. מקור שמה הוא שקל, משום  שאשקלון היא אחת מערי הנמל העתיקות בארץ, והמסחר בה היה מהפעיל ביותר. לעיר היסטוריה  ארוכה של אלפי שנים, בהן התקיימו בה יישובים שונים. אשקלון נזכרת לראשונה בספר יהושע:"חמשת סרני פלשתים, העזתי, האשדודיהאשקלוני". נכון לינואר 2016 אשקלון מונה כ־145,432 תושבים, והיא העיר המערבית ביותר במדינת ישראל . עיר יפה ומטופחת. חוף ים ארוך ויפה.

  This train station is very good, it's clean and spacious. It contains an ATM, enough ticket machines, and you can also buy tickets from the box office. Inside there's a little shop where you can buy coffee or some snacks for the ride. For your convenience, there's a restroom and some benches; There are too little benches inside the station, and many benches outside the building and on the ports, so if it's too cold or hot outside, you'd better be standing inside the building (Or sitting on the stairs inside, as some people do). Also, sometimes there are musicians in the station, letting you enjoy their performance while you wait.
